DescriptionDaniel Coll will discuss Rules, Reimbursement, and Realities of PA and NP Utilization. This will include an additional focus on surgical services and Hospital practice.
BiographyMr. Coll is a Physician Assistant with 18 years of clinical experience and currently the Director of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Tahoe Forest Hospital District in Truckee, California. His administrative work involves process improvement of clinical care pathways, supply chain optimization, and transitioning to and expanding the staffing of Surgical Physician Assistants. He has been instrumental in initiating participation in patient registries for joint replacement and bone health, lowering orthopedic patient lengths of stay, decreasing supply costs per episode of care, assisting with the transition and integration a private orthopedic practice into hospital operations, and increasing surgical PA assisting coverage to 24/7/365.
Dan received his undergraduate Bachelors of Science at UC Davis, Physician Assistant certification at Western University of Health Sciences, and Masters of Health Sciences at Pacific University. He is currently completing his MBA in Health Administration at the University of Colorado, Denver.
